Re: Bradley Financial Trouble

While I very much enjoyed my four years at ISU and appreciated the education received, I also believe there is considerable merit to online education, particularly from a cost perspective. The traditional brick and mortar college experience is cherished by many, but there is no question that costs ...

Re: Big Rey

Depressing Are you and ricohill related? Friends? Just curious... Friends. Part of a group of ISU fans. I’m not that close to Jamar, but Jamar and Trey are good friends (and not the same person). I’m not that close with them, but on a group text of ISU fans. I'm on that group text, too. It's a fun ...

Re: CHASTAIN AND BRUNINGA END PLAYING CAREERS

A colleague? Sure, ok. And there you have it. A plain and simple response with some proof to back it up. Well done , I applaud you. Can you offer substance like this more often, without the terror-like caricature responses you normally give regarding Redbird basketball? Those terror-like responses y...

Re: Big Rey

You realize this Indy St roster was largely his guys right? Yep, the same guys that also got absolutely embarrassed by a bad MOST team in STL. The same MoST team team YOU touted in preseason as run away winners of The Valley all the while claiming Dana looked like the second coming of Crum and was ...

Re: CHASTAIN AND BRUNINGA END PLAYING CAREERS

I personally believe a lot of the injuries are due to extended playing all year around from the AAU circuit. The players come into the schools these day not cross trained but many more basketball miles on their bodies than in the 70s, 80s, and early 90s. They are injuries waiting to happen when the...

There’s many studies in the strength and conditioning world that speak to in season practices and the danger of over working the players.

6'9"/6'10" Right Hander

Taylor? Ohhh Taylor??

0.17 ERA his senior year of high school. (Small school competition, granted) But good enough for top 10 all-time in Illinois high school history.

Re: CHASTAIN AND BRUNINGA END PLAYING CAREERS

Taylor go play at Duffy Bass!! Taylor won us/was the difference maker a couple of games during his freshman campaign with lights out shooting. For a true freshman coming from 1A Illini Bluffs...that is an incredible feat. MC. Don't know what to say other than THANK YOU. To both. Shaking my head. Com...

Dude I figured you were in some airport bathroom all quarantined up, with all the traveling you do and the many homes you are so lucky to have & responsible for. Cheeseballs on me @ Pub II, Trey. The pepperjack balls are simply undeniable. They’re not that good. I didn't invite you. Or...did I??

Re: Big Rey

Devastating?? Just a little over dramatic - sort of like Uecker's call of "Just a little outside." I was hopeful Rey was going to develop into a good inside player. He showed decent promise late last year and in the first few games this year - but, it did not work out. Was a little soft on the insi...

Yak scheduled to be on Mully and Haugh on 670 the Score at 8:40am this morning. Thanks for letting us know. He talked about creating an identity. I think we all knew he would like to be a good man team, but I found it refreshing how much time he said needs to spend on the basic development of rebou...

Not only is it a game of dominoes...but it is a game of ·potential· dominoes & ·what if· dominoes involving rumor and innuendo. Who knew college basketball and the NYSE had so much in common! Oopsie.

Re: UiC job

Yak had to see this as a guaranteed job the next 4-5 years, at least, unless he moves up somewhere else. Shaka could have been canned after this year and who is to say he would have found another gig in the Michigan or Texas realm. They both pay their assistants more than a lot of non-P5 HCs but th...
